9. கரம் குவிவார் உள் மகிழும் கோன் கழல்கள் வெல்க

9. KARAM KUVIVAR ULL MAGAZHUM KONE KAZHALGAL VELGA

Meaning: "Victory to the beautiful anklets (Feet) of the Lord, the king rejoicing amidst those who fold their hands adoring and worshipping Him. He severs the ties we have developed in this life at once and destroys the births. When we worship Him, our hands should be folded in reverence and held above the head, with both the fingers of the hands touching the corresponding fingers, while for elders, the hands should be kept at the level of face and for others to the level of heart. The significance is that the naughty five senses in our body is in full control of the mind, which is inside heart, is in full concentration towards HIM.

தமிழ்ப் பொருள்: - இறைவனின் அழகான கால்களில் அனிந்திருக்கும் தண்டைக்கு வெற்றி உரித்தாகுக. அவனின் பரிபூரண அருளின் பொழிவால், கை கூப்பி வணங்கி நிற்கும் அடியார்களினின் பணிவால் அவன் மகிழ்ச்சி அடைகிறான். அதற்குமாறாக், மனிதர்களின் பந்த பாசத்தையும், மறு பிறவியையும் மழு கொண்டு அறுக்கிறான். கடவுளைத்தொழும்போது, இரு கரங்களையும் கூப்பி, தலைக்கு மேல் வைத்து, ஒவ்வொரு விரலும் மற்ற கைகளின் விரல்களை தொடும்படி வைத்து வணங்கவேண்டும். அதேபோல், வயதில் பெரியவர்களை முகத்திற்கு நேராகவும், வயதில் சிறியோர்களை, இதயத்திற்கு நேராகவும் வைத்து தொழவேண்டும். இப்படி தொழுவதின் நோக்கம், நம்மிடம் விளையாட்டுக் காட்டும் ஐந்து புலண்களையும் கட்டுக்கோப்பில் வைத்திருக்கவேண்டும் என்பதே.
